Wear your seat belts!
My dear au pair, who was due to return to Ecuador at the end of the month after having been here for a year, got in a terrible car accident this weekend. She has several broken vertebrae and is in the hospital indefinitely in a great deal of pain. Think good thoughts for her. And please wear your seatbelts, even in the back seat. (She wasn’t.) My kids miss her very much and are worried about her.
