What’s your biggest remaining challenge?

In case you thought women had to be skinny to look good… (it’s about the attitude)

She has attitude doesn’t she?

I feel sad when women say they are going to lose weight so they can start dating and find someone. I met my husband at close to my highest weight. I never was lacking a date at any weight. “It” is more about confidence and attitude than weight. So by all means get fit — but don’t put life on hold for that magic day when you hit the “perfect” number on the scale. Live life to the fullest, no matter what. Right now. Today.

While I will be the first to admit that I definitely have gotten in the habit of dressing down working in the software industry and working at home, I actually do enjoy being stylish. Now that I’m shrinking out of my bigger clothes, I think I will replace them with much sassier clothes. (I will keep a pair of blue jeans, birks, and my old worn Grateful Dead t-shirt for emergencies, of course.)

Let’s hear it for confident, sexy women!

(Just a reminder, if you can, please sponsor me for as little as $10 for the 2008 Jingle Bell Run/Walk on Saturday, December 6. Time is running out! Here’s my original post.)
