What’s your biggest remaining challenge?

Turned the day around! Whee!

Yesterday morning I was feeling low. I indulged in that for a while and then had enough. Enough, I tell ya!

So, I…

  • Cracked down and got some tricky work out of the way
  • Dealt with an unpleasant personal issue
  • Stopped taking breaks to go stare in the kitchen cabinets (chocolate fairies never did show up)
  • Decided to let go of the things that were bugging me that I can’t act on right now
  • Sent out an email about sponsoring me for the Jingle Bell 5K on Saturday (and tripled the modest goal I had set — thanks wonderful generous people!)
  • Had a nice family dinner, took the kids to bed, snuggled with them and read books (while breaking up arguments about who got to hold the book light)
  • Took my dog out for a run (and ran more than I expected I’d be able to before I had to switch to walking!)
  • Came home to blog with hubby for a while
  • Finally settled down to read a bit before turning in to sleep at a reasonable hour

Ahh, ended up being a nice night. We can’t choose everything that happens to us, but we can always choose how to react.
