Shopping for marathons; maybe not this one
Well, what fun! I’m deciding what races I’m going to commit to for 2009.
Perhaps I should avoid the Krispy Kreme Challenge next month, though, given my fitness goals:
“Beginning at the NC State Belltower, each runner runs 2 miles to the Krispy Kreme store located on Peace St. in Raleigh. After downing a full dozen of the famous Krispy Kreme doughnuts, the runner must run the two miles back. All in one hour.”

My friend and I signed up for the Girl Scouts “Run for the Cookies” 5k/1k. I’m giving her my cookies (you get a box for registering)… it just seems counter-intuitive to give out cookies as a race! Maybe it isn’t though. I know some people who work out just so they can eat things they can enjoy.
Where can I sign up.
I absolutely loooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooove doughnuts. They are my favorite treat. They are also considered in the top three for worst foods you can eat. I always buy doughnuts before I do a marathon so that I can eat them right when I am done. Cool post
