Part 2, Influencer: The Power to Change Anything

Hi, all! I wanted to continue to my second posts (see first here) about the Influencer by Patterson, et al.
But first, let me say, I really reflected on the last post. And, I feel really emotional about saying I believe, probably for the first time in my life, that I can do this. (Or else [...]

I ran. I RAN. I R.A.N. As in, didn’t walk.

I did the unthinkable today.
The impossible.
The unimaginable.
There I was, walking on the track at the YMCA. I was walking at a good clip — probably around 4-4.5 miles per hour. (Who knew Steal Your Face was a song with a quick enough tempo? And, I was groovy and mellow while doing it. Must have been [...]

Down 3.9 more pounds: Biggest Loser Blog Edition

Well, down 3.9 more pounds for a total of 9.4 in two weeks!

-9.4 since starting Biggest Loser Blog Edition
-16.2 since starting blog

Down 5.5 pounds: Biggest Loser Blog Edition

Apparently, I shouldn’t try rudimentary arithmetic before my morning caffeine. I lost 5.5 pounds, not 4.5. D’oh! Thanks, Angie, for pointing that out.
Well, so far I’m down:

5.5 pounds since starting Biggest Loser Blog Edition (BLBE) a week ago
12.3 pounds since starting to blog about losing weight
29.3 pounds from my highest weight

Very satisfying.

A fat girl and her bike, together again

Well, I’m ready. Got my bike back from the bike shop. Got my bike accessories cleaned up. Washed my bike clothes. Didn’t really have to buy anything. Oh, except I did splurge on a speedometer/odometer so I can track my distance (gotta complete 112 miles by Oct 3!)

I have to say, my two bike shop [...]

This is the life. Except for…

Welcome to http://theonelastthing.com. I’m Alexia.
Why am I starting this blog?
Because…
Except for one thing, I have it all. I am living my dream.
I found and married my soulmate and we have several great kids. It’s a little spooky sometimes how very alike he and I are, even though we are from different continents. Our kids are [...]
